1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of websites, accounts, resources, features, services, and experiences operated by Little Hero Studios LLC ("Little Hero Studios," "Little Hero," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using a Little Hero-operated website or service, creating an account, or completing an eligible transaction through Little Hero, you agree to these Terms and to our applicable policies.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the applicable Little Hero service.

2. Eligibility and Family Use

Little Hero creates books, tools, resources, and digital experiences intended to support children, parents, caregivers, educators, and families.

Adults are responsible for supervising children's use of Little Hero online experiences and for ensuring that use is appropriate for the child's age and circumstances.

Certain child-oriented account or interactive features may require parent or legal guardian involvement, permission, supervision, or additional safeguards.

Users must follow any age requirements, permission requirements, or account rules presented within a particular Little Hero experience.

3. Accounts and Account Security

Some Little Hero features may require an account.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating or maintaining an account and to keep applicable account information reasonably current.

You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for activity occurring through your account unless unauthorized activity is promptly reported to Little Hero.

You may not impersonate another person, intentionally provide false identity information, attempt to gain unauthorized access to another account, or interfere with Little Hero account security.

4. Acceptable Use

Little Hero is intended to provide a safe, constructive, family-centered environment.

You agree not to use Little Hero services to:

• Harass, threaten, exploit, bully, or harm another person.
• Publish unlawful, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, deceptive, or intentionally harmful content.
• Attempt to obtain personal information from children or other users in an inappropriate or unauthorized manner.
• Distribute malware, malicious code, spam, automated abuse, or other harmful technical material.
• Circumvent account restrictions, moderation systems, security measures, or access controls.
• Copy, scrape, reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit Little Hero content in violation of these Terms or applicable law.
• Use Little Hero services for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.

5. Community and Interactive Features

Little Hero may offer community voting, comments, reactions, messages, submissions, recognition features, or other interactive experiences.

Participation in these features must remain respectful, constructive, and appropriate for the audience and purpose of the experience.

Little Hero may review, moderate, restrict, hide, remove, or refuse content or activity that violates these Terms, applicable community rules, safety expectations, or law.

Little Hero may also restrict or suspend access to interactive features when reasonably necessary to protect users, children, the community, or the integrity of the service.

6. User Submissions

If Little Hero permits users to submit comments, messages, reactions, stories, artwork, names for recognition, or other materials, you remain responsible for the content you submit.

You should only submit material that you have the right to provide and that does not violate another person's rights, privacy, or safety.

When you voluntarily submit content for display through a Little Hero feature, you grant Little Hero a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, reproduce, format, and display that content as reasonably necessary to operate that feature.

This permission does not transfer ownership of your original content to Little Hero.

7. Little Hero Intellectual Property

Little Hero names, logos, characters, illustrations, books, stories, artwork, designs, website content, educational materials, videos, downloadable resources, trademarks, and other original materials may be protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

Unless expressly authorized, Little Hero content may not be copied, republished, redistributed, sold, modified, reproduced for commercial purposes, or used to create confusingly similar products or services.

Personal and family use of resources remains subject to any license, download terms, or usage instructions presented with the applicable resource.

8. Educational and Family Resources

Little Hero books, articles, toolkits, guides, activities, and family resources are provided for general educational, informational, creative, and supportive purposes.

These materials are not a substitute for individualized medical, mental-health, legal, financial, educational, or other professional advice.

Families should seek qualified professional assistance when a situation requires individualized assessment, diagnosis, treatment, legal advice, or other specialized support.

9. Support the Mission Contributions

Little Hero may allow individuals to provide one-time financial support through the Support the Mission experience.

These payments support Little Hero's work, resources, operations, and continued development.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, a Support the Mission contribution does not purchase an ownership interest, investment interest, voting right, or financial return in Little Hero Studios LLC.

Refund requests involving eligible direct Little Hero payments are governed by our Refund Policy.

10. Mission Partner Memberships

Mission Partner memberships are recurring support arrangements billed according to the amount and billing interval presented at checkout.

By starting a recurring Mission Partner membership, you authorize the applicable recurring payment until the membership is canceled.

Mission Partners may manage eligible billing information, payment methods, invoices, and cancellation through the Stripe Customer Portal or another method Little Hero makes available.

When cancellation is configured to occur at the end of the current billing period, the membership remains active through that period and future recurring charges stop after the cancellation takes effect.

Cancellation of future recurring payments does not automatically create a refund for a payment already processed. Refund eligibility is governed by the Little Hero Refund Policy.

11. Payment Processing

Little Hero may use third-party payment processors, including Stripe, to process eligible direct payments and recurring support.

Payment processing may also be subject to the applicable payment provider's terms, policies, and privacy practices.

You are responsible for providing accurate billing information and for ensuring that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

12. Third-Party Purchases and Services

Certain Little Hero books, products, merchandise, or services may be offered or fulfilled through third-party platforms such as Amazon or other external providers.

Transactions completed directly through those third-party platforms are subject to the applicable provider's terms, refund policies, fulfillment rules, and privacy practices.

Little Hero does not control the operation of independent third-party platforms.

13. External Links

Little Hero websites may contain links to third-party websites, stores, social platforms, payment services, or other external resources.

A link does not necessarily mean that Little Hero controls or endorses every statement, product, service, or practice of the destination website.

Your use of external services is subject to their own terms and policies.

14. Service Availability and Changes

Little Hero may add, modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue website features, resources, services, pricing, memberships, or other experiences as the platform evolves.

We may perform maintenance or make technical changes that temporarily affect availability.

We do not guarantee that every feature will be available at all times or on every device.

15. Suspension or Termination

Little Hero may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to an account or feature when reasonably necessary because of violations of these Terms, safety concerns, suspected fraud, misuse, unlawful activity, security risks, or material harm to Little Hero or its users.

Where appropriate, Little Hero may provide an opportunity to correct a problem before permanent account action is taken.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Little Hero websites, services, resources, and content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

Little Hero does not guarantee that every service will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or suitable for every individual circumstance.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Little Hero Studios LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use Little Hero services.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where applicable law does not permit that limitation.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws applicable to Little Hero Studios LLC, subject to any consumer-protection rights or other legal requirements that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted.

Because legal requirements can vary by jurisdiction, this section may be updated as Little Hero's operations expand.

19. Privacy

Your use of Little Hero services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and manage information.

20. Changes to These Terms

Little Hero may update these Terms as our services, technology, business operations, or legal requirements change.

Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

Continued use of Little Hero services after updated Terms become effective may constitute acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by applicable law.
